Mornag is the best-known Tunisian AOC, situated on a limestone plateau northeast of Tunis. Dominated by Carignan, Cinsault, and Grenache, the appellation produces structured red wines under a warm Mediterranean climate. The Société Vinicole de Mornag is the principal producer, with the Magon brand among Tunisia's most exported labels.
