Walla Walla Valley
Walla Walla Valley is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) located in southeastern Washington State. Established in 1984, it is characterized by a diverse range of soils and a climate influenced by the nearby Blue Mountains. The valley is known for its warm days and cool nights, which contribute to the ripening of grapes while preserving acidity. The AVA includes parts of both Washington and Oregon, with a focus on Bordeaux and Rhône varietals.
