Niederösterreich

Niederösterreich is the largest wine-producing region in Austria, located in the northeastern part of the country. It encompasses several notable wine districts, including Wachau, Kamptal, and Kremstal, which are characterized by their diverse terroirs and microclimates. The region is primarily known for its white wines, particularly those made from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, reflecting a long-standing viticultural tradition that dates back to Roman times.
