Named for the Kamp River, this DAC region in Lower Austria produces some of the country's finest Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The Heiligenstein vineyard, with its ancient desert sandstone soils, rivals any Grand Cru. Bründlmayer and Schloss Gobelsburg set the standard.
