Côte Chalonnaise
Burgundy's best-value region, south of the Côte d'Or. Mercurey and Givry produce reds that echo the Côte de Beaune at friendlier prices; Rully and Montagny offer excellent white Burgundy. Less famous than its northern neighbors, the Côte Chalonnaise rewards exploration.
