Bouzeron is an AOC located in the Côte Chalonnaise region of France, recognized for its production of white wines primarily made from the Aligoté grape. The appellation is situated near the village of Bouzeron, which is at the northern end of the Côte Chalonnaise. The terroir features clay-limestone soils and a continental climate, contributing to the unique characteristics of the wines produced here. Bouzeron is notable for being one of the few appellations in Burgundy to focus on Aligoté, which is often overshadowed by Chardonnay in the region.
