Sancerre

Sancerre

Sauvignon Blanc's French benchmark. The hills overlooking the Loire produce wines of piercing purity — citrus, flint, and herbs in perfect balance. Different soils (silex, limestone, clay) create distinct styles, but all share that unmistakable Sancerre tension. Light reds from Pinot Noir are increasingly notable.

Crisp, mineral, pure
