Châteauneuf's less famous neighbor, often offering similar quality at lower prices. The Dentelles de Montmirail mountains shelter vineyards that produce wines of structure and depth. More Syrah and Mourvèdre here than in Châteauneuf, giving wines a firmer spine. Age-worthy and undervalued.
