Baden
Germany's warmest and third-largest wine region, stretching along the Rhine from Heidelberg to Basel. The Kaiserstuhl's volcanic soils produce Germany's best Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) also excel here. Baden is Germany's only region in EU wine zone B.
