The Aegean Islands scatter wine production across Santorini, Lesbos, Lemnos, Samos, and Chios. Volcanic Santorini, with its basket-trained Assyrtiko vines and pumice soils, is the signature. Muscat-dominant Samos and Lemnos produce sweet and dry whites. The island terroirs are characterised by intense sun, marine winds, and indigenous varieties.
