Italy's answer to Burgundy. In the fog-shrouded hills of the Langhe, Nebbiolo produces wines of haunting complexity — pale in color, immense in structure. Barolo and Barbaresco are the pinnacles, but Barbera and Dolcetto offer daily pleasure. This is Italy at its most aristocratic.
