Arione is a south-to-southwest facing MGA in Serralunga d'Alba at 270–330 m, acquired by Giacomo Conterno in 2015 to complement the estate's historic Francia holding on the same commune. Helvetian Serravallian marl soils give classic Serralunga power — dense, concentrated Nebbiolo with substantial tannic structure and the deep mineral character of this demanding terroir. Conterno's Barolo Arione is the sole current benchmark bottling and places this MGA within the upper tier of Serralunga production.
