Boscareto

Boscareto is a south-facing MGA in Serralunga d'Alba at 280–330 m, positioned on the western face of the Serralunga ridge with Helvetian Serravallian marl soils that produce the commune's characteristic powerful, austere Nebbiolo. The wines show dense dark fruit, firm tannin, and the mineral backbone of Serralunga, requiring patient ageing to open. Fontanafredda, with extensive Serralunga holdings, is the primary producer working this MGA.
