Bricco Boschis ('wooded hilltop') is a high-altitude south-to-southwest facing MGA in Castiglione Falletto at 310–350 m, dominated by the Cavallotto estate, which holds the majority of the vineyard. The higher elevation and Helvetian Serravallian soils extend the ripening season, producing Nebbiolo of refined, complex aromatics and firm tannic structure with excellent longevity. Cavallotto's Bricco Boschis bottlings — including a celebrated Vigna San Giuseppe Riserva — are the de facto reference for this near-monopole cru.
