Brunate

Brunate

Brunate straddles the communes of La Morra and Barolo on a prominent south-facing hillcrest reaching 350–400 m, making it one of the highest-altitude major MGAs in the denomination. The Tortonian Helvetian calcareous marl soils of its La Morra portion yield Nebbiolo of perfumed, violet-inflected character and relatively open structure; the Barolo-commune parcel adds more grip. Roberto Voerzio, Vietti, G.B. Burlotto, and Oddero are the benchmark producers, each capturing a slightly different facet of Brunate's renowned aromatic expressiveness.

Aromatic, medium-to-full bodied Barolo; perfumed and age-worthy
