Falletto

Falletto

Falletto is a south-to-southeast facing MGA in Serralunga d'Alba at 280–330 m, strongly identified with the Bruno Giacosa estate, whose Barolo Falletto and Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva have long been reference points for the appellation's full-throttle Serralunga style. Helvetian Serravallian marl soils produce Nebbiolo of intense concentration, dark fruit, tar, and ferrous minerality, requiring a decade of cellaring before approaching its peak. While not a full monopole, the MGA's identity is inseparable from Giacosa's decades of single-vineyard bottlings.

Intense, concentrated Barolo; tar, dark fruit, long-lived Serralunga
