Lazzarito is a south-to-southeast facing MGA in Serralunga d'Alba at 260–320 m, one of the commune's established single-vineyard names with Helvetian Serravallian soils that produce full-bodied, powerful Nebbiolo. The wines combine dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy minerality with the firm tannic structure intrinsic to Serralunga, requiring substantial cellaring to integrate. Fontanafredda (Vigna La Delizia) and Vietti are the benchmark producers, with Vietti's Barolo Lazzarito considered among the estate's finest Serralunga crus.
