Mariondino is a south-facing MGA in Castiglione Falletto at 260–300 m, situated near the Monprivato boundary and sharing broadly similar Helvetian marl soils with good drainage. The wines tend toward the firm, mineral Castiglione Falletto style — tannic framework with good aromatic presence — though the MGA has lower visibility than its famous neighbours. Giacomo Fenocchio is among the producers with holdings in the Mariondino area.
