Mosconi

Mosconi is a south-facing MGA adjacent to Ginestra in Monforte d'Alba at 280–360 m, sharing the commune's Serravallian marl soils and tendency toward concentrated, structured Barolo. The wines exhibit dark fruit, earthy minerality, and the firm tannin typical of Monforte, requiring patient cellaring to show their best. Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Mosconi (including the 90 Dì Riserva), Pio Cesare, and Conterno-Fantino are the principal estates working this cru.

Concentrated, earthy Barolo; Monforte structure and patience required
