Vignane is a south-facing MGA in the Barolo commune at 250–300 m, producing Nebbiolo of characteristic Barolo-commune elegance and relatively lighter body compared to the Serralunga style. Tortonian calcareous marl soils and a sheltered position contribute to wines that are perfumed and approachable. Brovia is the best-known producer bottling from Vignane, one of the lower-profile but legitimate MGAs within the Barolo-commune tier.
