Amarone della Valpolicella

Amarone della Valpolicella

Wine from raisins. Grapes are dried for months (appassimento) before pressing, concentrating sugars and flavors. The result is powerful, rich, and distinctively bitter (amaro). Corvina dominates the blend. Amarone is Italy's most hedonistic red wine.

Rich, dried-fruit, powerful
