Chapter 5

Into a place, and back out

Cellar and Atlas are maps of places within places: a continent holds its countries, a country its regions. The bar at the bottom shows where you are.

  1. Tap a place on the map to go into it: Europe, then France, then Burgundy.
  2. The bar at the bottom shows the way in. Tap an earlier place there, such as Europe, to go straight back up to it.

  1. Press and hold a place in the bar, such as Burgundy, to learn about it.

  1. Swipe right from the left edge to go up one level. Anything open over the map, like this panel, closes first.

Cellar shows only the places that hold your wines, so its map is shaped by your own collection: a continent appears when you hold a wine from it.

The bar is both the way in and the way back. Each place in it is a step you took, and tapping one returns you there in a single move, however deep you are.
